Deployment Events
SAT 12-OCT-2002 (285)     - Wind Sensor 1 on the MOBY Mooring Weather Station does not exist any
                            more so it was returning zeros for wind speeds
                            and 180 for direction.
                           
                            LuMOS occationally has a huge amount of variability, more than can be
                            explained by variations in Es.
SUN 13-OCT-2002 (286) - 23 Hour file, Why is the LuTops red spec data higher than the blue?
SAT 19-OCT-2002 (292) - 20 Hour file, What is up with the shape on the LuTop, is this GREEN water (tricho bloom)? I marked it bad but it could be a good day. 23 Hour file, LuTop looks less GREEN, this file is definatly bad.
WED 23-OCT-2002 (296) - 20 Hour file, Close to begin a good day except Kl3 is way to low in the red spec.

SAT 23-NOV-2002 (327) - Small fish took up residence in the LuMOS port. They may have been setting up house as early as 3 Nov but it is hard to tell fish from clouds.
TUE 03-DEC-2002 (337) - 20 Hour file, Why is this a bad day, what is up with the LuTop and its Kl?
SAT 07-DEC-2002 (341) - 20 Hour file, Very close to being good, Es needs some work?
SAT 14-DEC-2002 (348) - Starting around Mid December LuMid scans are too low. The change in intensity does not seem to be spectral but a flat decrease across the spectrum. This caused most of the MOBY data to designated as BAD even though it was a sunny and clear day. This problem was noticed 07 Jan 2003 by Stephanie, Stephanie called Mark on 08 Jan 2003 to let him know there may be a problem. Mark called back and said the HRA divers would clean the arms and take pictures on Friday (10 Jan). ADEOS-II (Midori-II) was Launched by the National Space Development Agency of Japan with the Japanese GLI ocean color sensor and French POLDER 2 instrument.
SAT 21-DEC-2002 (355) - 20 Hour file, Why is this a bad day?
WED 25-DEC-2002 (359) - 20 Hour file, Why is this a bad day? Starting on 15 Dec 2001, the LuMid data was too low.
SUN 29-DEC-2002 (363) - 23 Hour file, Kls are criss crossed, WHY?
MON 30-DEC-2002 (364) - 23 Hour file, Why is this a bad day?
TUE 31-DEC-2002 (365) - 20 Hour file, Why is this a bad day? 23 Hour File, Why is this a bad day?.
FRI 10-JAN-2003 (010) - Hawaiian Rafting Adventure Diver cleaned the collectors on the MOBY arms, LuMOS, EuMOS and the floppers stopper chains. The 20 hour file was collecting data while they were cleaning and does not have useable data. LuTop was collecting data and the LuMid had not been cleaned yet. The divers found small fish living in the LuMOS port which explains the high variability in the LuMOS data.
WED 22-JAN-2003 (022) - MOBY221 was towed to the lee of Lanai and recovered.
